WHAT’S UP, Pat Garcia?

Turn The Light On

I seem to have disappeared after my book release, but I haven’t. I have been taking classes, writing feverishly on five submissions for writing contests, and preparing my marketing plan for Turn The Light On so that I could get it into motion. There were many things that I had to learn also about YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook that I hadn’t known before the book was published, and I have had fun learning these things most of the time.

Today, I am revealing the book trailer for Turn The Light On. Many thanks to 4WillsPublishing. They have been marvelous in setting my desires into the type of book trailer I wanted to have.

I am smiling because I know how customer desires can frustrate a creative department. My wishes were on a very long list of what I wanted to happen, and each one was taken very seriously by 4WillsPublishing. They jumped right in the boat with me. It reminded me of the concerts I give here. My musicians jump in the boat with me, which is one reason my stage appearances are successful. And so it was with 4WillsPublishing. They stepped in the boat with me. For that, I am grateful.

I hope you have enjoyed the above Book Trailer Clip. It is my first one, and it is very special to me.

Have a wonderful day.
Take care and stay safe.

Pat Garcia

    Nice book trailer, Pat.
I’m preparing my book launch now and it is indeed an exhausting, complex and daunting task for indies to do on our own. So much to do and so many decisions to make. Good luck with your book.

    1. Thank you, Luccia.
The publishing business is complex and I am still wrapping my head around it. It takes time and more time, but we will make it.
      Have a great day.

  2. akrummenacker – California – Originally from Levittown NY, I currently reside somewhere along the coast in California with my wife/co-author Helen. A lot of my creativity was born from my lifelong love of science fiction and horror. As a child I grew up on the original Dark Shadows, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Doctor Who (which I still follow) and Anime. A few of my favorite authors are HP Lovecraft, Jane Austen, Robert Asprin, Jodi Lynn Nye, Stephen King, Richard Matheson, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Edgar Allan Poe, and so many more. However, I do not spend all our time sitting behind a desk writing. I like to get out and try new things. We also like to explore new places, sometimes with family or friends. I've gotten plenty of ideas thanks to these adventures. I like to draw from personal experience because I feel it lends a bit of authenticity to a story and its characters. Which is probably why Helen and I still love to attend conventions which involve sci-fi, fantasy, anime, comics, you name it. Yes, we are Geeks and proud of it.

  4. I also learned a lot when I published my first book, Pat. I didn’t even have Facebook when I launched the first Sir Choc book in August 2016, never mind anything else. Talk about a learning curve.

I can identify with you. I don’t I will ever stop learning. Thank you for dropping by.

    1. Good Morning Again, Jan,
This is the second comment that was in my spam. As I said before, I am so sorry about this. A simple nudge told me to look through my spams before I delete them and I did. Your congrats means a lot to me. I am so happy to see this. Thank you.
