Thank you, Bette. Hugs.
I really like the imagery and movement in “Silver Lining.”
Good Morning Liz,
Yes, the imagery and movement is magnificent. It is so important to get the timing or the movement flowing. It is done well in this poem.

I’m glad you enjoyed this, Liz. This young man made a big impression on me. I still remember him flying along on this large flat trolley. People collect plastic from the garbage bins and take it to the recycling plants where they get paid a small amount of money. I used to often see them in the mornings and the trolleys are piled so high and look heavy and awkward to pull. This young man was young, only about 18 years old.
I can see why. When I’m driving through a city, I’ll see homeless people with shopping carts piled high with cans for recycling, but they’re never young and never flying along.
They can be young here. Our society is quite different from the USA or the UK.
The more I read what you write about your society, the more interested I’m becoming in it.
Thank you so much, Liz, for visiting Robbie Cheadle on my blog.
Have a great week.
Shalom aleichem

Hi Pat, thank you for sharing my poem. I hope you enjoyed it.
Hi Robbie,
I did enjoy it tremendously and that is the main reason I didn’t write an introduction.
I think this poem is worthy enough to introduce itself.
Great job, Lady.
